Managing Job Results

KS / KS 5000U / KSi 5008U

Overview

After a job is completed, review and organize the generated files, output data, and execution logs. Proper result management helps users confirm job success, prepare data for analysis, support troubleshooting, and maintain a clean and consistent workspace.

Prerequisites

Before managing job results, verify the following:

  • The job has completed or generated output files.
  • You have permission to access the related output directory and log files. The job has been finished and status shows as completed.

Procedure

Accessing Job Output

  1. Go to EonKube > HPC > File Explorer.
  2. Open File Explorer.
  3. Access Output Files
    • Navigate to the specified output directory where results are stored. This is typically defined in your job command or script.

Review Logs and Outputs Files

  1. Identify the output files generated by the job.
  2. Review log files to confirm execution progress and detect any warnings or errors.
  3. If applicable, review log files stored under paths such as:

    vcjobs/<JOB_ID>/Logs/*.log

  4. Confirm that the expected output files were generated successfully.

Organizing Results

If needed, organize the generated files by performing actions such as:

  • Renaming output files
  • Moving files into dedicated folders
  • Grouping files by job ID, date, or project
  • Archiving completed results for long-term storage

Downloading, Sharing, or Deleting Results

Depending on your workflow requirements, you may also:

  • Download result files for local analysis or reporting
  • Share result files with project members
  • Archive important outputs in long-term storage
  • Delete unnecessary files to free up storage space

Rename output files with clear, consistent naming conventions if needed.

Note:

The available file operations depend on your permissions and the configuration of the storage environment.
